Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers, scanners, scales, and belts efficiently.
• Process various payment methods accurately, including cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, and loyalty programs.
• Weigh, bag, and ensure proper handling of customer purchases across different product categories.
• Maintain knowledge of store programs, product locations, and pricing accuracy.
• Communicate store promotions, coupons, and loyalty benefits to customers.
• Adhere to security, cash handling, and food safety policies.
• Keep the area clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with stocking and other department tasks as needed.
