RoShay Services in Ashland, WI is seeking a friendly cashier to operate cash registers and electronic scanners, process transactions accurately, and assist customers with bagging purchases while delivering courteous service. The role involves weighing and pricing items, handling cash, credit, and various payment methods, promoting store programs, and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area.

Prior retail experience is a plus, and physical capability to lift light loads is expected.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred; retail experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate cash registers, scanners, scales, and belts to itemize and total customer purchases.
• Handle financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, coupons, and voids in compliance with policies.
• Weigh, bag, and ensure correct product identification and pricing, reporting errors as needed.
• Promote store programs, specials, and coupons to enhance customer experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the department.
• Assist with stocking and other department tasks as assigned.
