Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to create a smooth checkout experience for customers and ensure accurate purchases. You’ll scan items, bag groceries, answer questions, and help complete transactions with a friendly, efficient approach.

You’ll also keep the checkout area organized, restock supplies, and assist with cart retrieval in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions and process purchases accurately
• Scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers
• Maintain checkout area and restock supplies
• Answer questions and help customers during checkout
• Collect carts and keep front-end clean and organized
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
