Qualifications

• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Minimum 18 years of age; 19 if Idaho/Alaska tobacco sales.
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends on a regular basis, any shift and overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
• Related retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions, including open/close register, ring sales, complete tender transactions.
• Complete file maintenance log for price discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area to housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Promote and follow Company initiatives.
• Verify Electronic Article Surveillance tags are deactivated/removed from products.
• Respond to EAS pedestal activations and verify tag removal.
• Maintain store accounting functions and prepare deposits.
• Open and close the Customer Service Desk, process refunds and exchanges.
• Provide lottery service and fish/game licenses where applicable.
• Handle faxing, lost and found, and general desk duties.
• Ability to work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful environments.
