We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to handle cash with accuracy. Prior cashier experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months cashiering experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and exiting the store.
• Engage with customers to provide personalized service and promote digital receipts.
• Scan items accurately and ensure proper payment before checkout.
• Bag merchandise carefully and maintain tidy checkout area.
• Promote Scheels Visa card and explain benefits.
• Encourage sign-up for digital receipts.
• Close transactions with a courteous thank you to each customer.
• Operate the computerized register and follow cash handling policies.
• Stay aware of in-store events and promotions.
