Job summary

Albertsons Companies is hiring a Front-End Team Member to provide a smooth checkout experience and friendly service to customers. You will be the final step of the shopping trip, scanning items, handling payments, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency at the register.

The role emphasizes organization, adaptability, and teamwork as you rotate between transactions, bagging, restocking, and maintaining a clean, welcoming checkout area across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements).
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately across cash, card and digital payments.
• Assist customers with checkout and answer questions to ensure a positive visit.
• Restock supplies, bag groceries, and maintain a clean checkout area.
• Follow store policies and register procedures while managing multiple tasks.
