King Soopers in Conifer, CO is hiring a part-time Bagger/Cashier to deliver great customer experiences. You will greet customers, process check lane transactions, and operate the POS system following company policy.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the Point of Sale (POS) system, and handle various tenders according to company policy.
• Understand and adhere to cash shortage/overage limits and help control loss.
• Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Support safety programs by following procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Perform preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting needs.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering questions about products and services.
• Adhere to all laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced or stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
