Job summary

Heinen’s Grocery Store is seeking a Retail Professional to uphold the Heinen’s Diamond Difference standards at our Ohio locations. You will operate scanners, manage payments, and assist customers while maintaining store appearance and safety standards.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, work efficiently with minimal supervision, and can handle occasional Saturdays, Sundays, and evenings. We offer opportunities for promotion and a supportive team environment committed to customer service

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sense of urgency with ability to work independently to achieve tasks.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Production driven with ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work non-traditional five-day schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings.

• Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate.
• Follow all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards or the purchase of specific items, such as alcohol.
• Follow company standards for proper packing.
• Acquire and share knowledge of the store.
• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
