University of California, Irvine's Disability Services Center is seeking a detailed administrator to oversee front office operations and supervise student staff. The role includes coordinating evening exam proctoring, exam logistics, and ensuring timely, confidential accommodations.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment and to mediate in responding to issues and concerns involving supervisors as necessary.
  • Proficient in ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
  • Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
  • Highly skilled in use of computers and technology for data management, scheduling and communication, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Well versed on and can articulate and apply the Social Justice Model regarding disability in Higher Education.
  • Knowledge of assessment, accommodation, and intervention techniques involved in employee's specialty, for example, learning disorders, mobility disability, visual impairment, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
  • CA Driver's License
  • 1-3 yearsof disability services or a closely related field

Responsibilities

The Disability Services Center strives to create a culture of inclusion and access to all UCI programs, services, activities, events, and facilities for students with disabilities by forming partnerships with the university community. Your Role on the Team

The expected pay for this recruitment is $29.47 hourly.
