Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Front Desk Student Assistant- Institutional Student Worker, on the Oconee Campus. The student assistant will serve as the receptionist at the information desk and provide generic clerical support to the faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as receptionist at the Information Desk to:


• Greet visitors


• Answer phones, triage calls, and direct caller to appropriate departments or personnel for assistance and resolution


• Assist students, parents, and others who are visiting the administrative building by determining needs and directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel for assistance


• Answer general routine questions

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Must have knowledge of basic computer skills (to include Microsoft Office and Outlook).

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
