Job summary

Marksman Security in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Security Receptionist to greet tenants and visitors, monitor access points, and maintain a calm, professional presence along the Embarcadero corridor.

The role requires excellent customer service, ability to operate security systems and radios, and strong report writing. A CA Guard Card, training, and pre-employment background checks are required; CPR/First Aid is preferred. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, and more.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills and a strong command presence.
• CPR First Aid & AED certification preferred; Guard Card licensing required in CA.
• Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; professional appearance and demeanor.
• Pre-employment background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional assistance to tenants, employees, and visitors; enforce property rules respectfully.
• Maintain clear radio communication with supervisors, dispatch, and fellow officers.
• Coordinate with Port of San Francisco security, building management and local law enforcement when required.
• Provide security coverage for events and increased foot-traffic along the waterfront.
