Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking a Part-Time Security Receptionist in San Francisco, CA. The role calls for excellent customer service, a professional appearance, and the ability to stand and patrol as needed.

Responsibilities

• Offer directions, escorts, and general support while enforcing property rules.
• Maintain clear radio communication with supervisors and dispatch.
• Provide security coverage for events and increased foot traffic.

$27.50/ Per Hour

Monday - Friday, Swing Shift!

Great interpersonal and customer service skills required!

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields.

Must have active CA State training and Guard Card licensing.

Public Interaction & Customer Service

• Provide professional assistance to tenants, employees, visitors.
• Offer directions, escorts, and general support while enforcing property rules respectfully.
• Serve as a calm, approachable presence along the Embarcadero corridor.

Communication & Coordination

• Maintain clear radio communication with supervisors, dispatch, and fellow officers.
• Coordinate with Port of San Francisco security, building management, and local law enforcement when required.
• Follow all post orders, emergency procedures, and property‑specific protocols.

Event & Activity Support

• Provide security coverage for scheduled events, tenant functions, and increased foot‑traffic periods along the waterfront.
• Assist with crowd awareness, perimeter monitoring, and safety oversight during activations.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and a strong command presence.
• Mandatory California Guard Card,
• CPR certification is desirable
• Prior EMT experience is highly desirable.
• Military and/or law enforcement backgrounds are encouraged to apply
