Are you outgoing, energetic, charismatic, playful, musical, silly, and great with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their parents? Are you great with Customer Service? Are you a mom or dad looking for part-time work while your children are in school?

At Gymboree, we take a playful and active approach to learning. We know that playing and learning are inextricably linked and our "whole child" approach helps children to build strong motor and social skills that better prepare them for school, all while having fun! Parents and/or caregivers attend classes with their children ages newborn to five years as they explore unique songs, play instruments and games.

There are 3 core programs:

1. Play & Learn classes include age appropriate play activities on our custom designed play equipment, songs, parachute play, and bubbles.
2. Music classes involve instrument activities, singing, dancing and exploring a variety of music styles from around the world. Candidates do not need to be able to read music or play instruments - just be rhythmic!
3. Art classes offer hands-on, process-oriented activities including painting, sculpting, and collage making, in addition to movement activities and songs that support different art themes explored.

Your skills for the Front Desk shift must include:

1. Provide excellent customer service
2. Answering phones
3. Display and sell merchandise
4. Data entry in computer system
5. Cleaning and maintaining overall appearance of site

Your skills for a teaching position with us need to be:

1. Must be comfortable singing in front of children & grown-ups
2. Possess strong group leadership and customer service skills
3. Playful and energetic teaching style
4. Experience working with young children is a plus
5. Retail and customer service experience is a plus
6. Commitment to on-going learning and program development
7. Sense of humor appreciated

Team Member Requirements:

1. One-year commitment. It can takes several weeks of paid training to get you up to speed, so we ask that you give at least a one-year commitment for the job
2. Must be available on weekends

Hours:

1. Part-time
2. Flexible schedule required; classes and parties are held weekdays, evenings and weekends. When you take on your shifts after training, you will have the same shifts every week. There can be additional shifts/hours if you're needed for subbing!
3. Paid training will begin immediately

Compensation:

1. Competitive hourly pay (based upon experience). Training is paid at $16.78 per hour with a bump when you are trained and start your shifts.
2. Free Gymboree Play & Music play floor classes for employee's age appropriate children WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING
