Job summary

Lifepoint Health is recruiting for a Front Desk Representative at our Danville, VA internal medicine office. The role supports patient check-in/check-out, verification of information, and coordination with the care team in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of medical office or related experience, with a high school diploma or equivalent. The position offers full-time hours with a schedule that includes Mon-Thu 8a-5p and Fri 8a-1p.

• 1 year of office experience preferred.
• 2 years of medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers patients, verifies information, and obtains signatures.
• Handles multi-line phone system; routes calls and coordinates with answering service.
• Collects payments (co-pays, deductibles), assists with account inquiries, and reconciles daily deposits.
• Supports MD orders (e.g., work excuses, medical records).
• Maintains and organizes patient records and charts.

Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with 2 hospital campuses - Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room, Outpatient Imaging Center, and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. Our Danville location is also a teaching hospital that trains medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine.

How You'll Contribute

A Front Desk Representative who excels in this role:

What We're Looking For

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• 1 year of office experience is preferred.
