The Front Desk Representative is the first point of contact for guests and manages all aspects of their stay.
Position Responsibilities
- Adhere to company and departmental procedures, guidelines, and policies at all times.
- Foster a cooperative and harmonious work environment.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to promote positive customer relations.
- Register guests upon check-in and check-out.
- Maintain cash bank, prepare daily deposits, and handle cash payments with proper documentation.
- Assist with baggage arrangements following hotel procedures.
- Handle customer check-out and process payments for charges.
- Verify room status and assist with reservation checks.
- Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services, rates, and amenities.
- Inform guests about hotel services and events.
- Greet guests warmly with a friendly demeanor and clear communication.
- Maintain knowledge of all hotel outlets and their hours of operation.
Essential Functions
- Resolve customer issues with a focus on service quality.
- Promote positive relations with guests and staff.
- Work in a casino environment with factors like secondhand smoke and noise.
- Stand for entire shifts and move throughout the hotel/casino areas.
- Work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in cash handling and customer service preferred.
- Computer skills desired.
- Effective communication in English.
