The Indian Health Board of Minneapolis, Inc. is looking for a Registration & Transportation Supervisor. This full-time role involves supervising daily activities in the registration and transportation departments, ensuring excellent patient service, and managing staff development.
The ideal candidate has at least a 2-year degree and 2 years of healthcare experience, preferably with expertise in electronic health records and experience with Native American communities.
Work Hours: Weekdays 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Indian Health Board of Minneapolis, Federally Qualified Health Care Center and community clinic.
Facilitate registration with patient flow and provide transportation to and from the IHB clinics while directing staff to deliver good customer service.
IHB limits access to protected health information to the minimum necessary for assigned duties. This position is limited to PHI needed to carry out health care operations.
Central Registration: Sedentary work with some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, and driving a vehicle.
Transportation: Physical exertion including prolonged standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, reaching, and lifting children up to 50 pounds. The role involves exposure to potentially dangerous situations and requires safety precautions.
