Job description

Join to apply for the Front Desk Receptionist (Traveling) role at Anne Arundel Dermatology.

This is a traveling position requiring availability to start as early as 7am, with rotations among Havre De Grace, Westminster, Glen Burnie, Annapolis, and Prince Frederick.

Pay range: $16-22/hr, depending on experience. Mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Greeting patients politely and providing instructions or directions.
  2. Answering phones professionally and transferring calls.
  3. Maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
  4. Verifying insurance and updating patient information.
  5. Preparing patient charts and confirming appointments.
  6. Collecting payments and reconciling daily bank transactions.
  7. Sending/receiving medical records per HIPAA.
  8. Maintaining COVID cleaning protocols.
  9. Traveling to various office locations as needed.
  10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: 1+ year experience in a medical practice and customer service background.
  • Long-term commitment (2 years preferred).
