A Front Desk Receptionist for a home health agency In Brooksville Florida.9AM to 5PM Monday trough Wednesday. You will serves as the first point of contact, handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting clients and visitors, and managing administrative tasks. They ensure smooth operations, provide excellent customer service, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient/Client Communication:
Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
Schedule and manage appointments for clients, including home visits and follow-up appointments.
Communicate with patients and their families to address questions, concerns, and provide information about services.
Assist with patient intake and enrollment processes, gathering necessary information.
Administrative Support:
Maintain a clean and organized reception area and office.
Manage client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and other correspondence.
Manage office supplies and equipment.
Financial/Billing:
Assist with billing inquiries, copays, and insurance verification.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
Other:
Support the clinical team with various tasks, such as chart preparation and data entry.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Maintain HIPAA compliance.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, especially when dealing with patients and their families.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in healthcare.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic billing procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
