Job summary

South Denver Surgery Center in Colorado is hiring a Full Time Front Desk Receptionist to greet patients, manage check-in, and support the office with scheduling and insurance verification.

The role requires reliable, personable and detail-oriented individuals who can handle billing, phone calls, and coordination of procedures, with opportunities to float to other locations as needed. Pay: $19.29 - $22.87 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year health care clerical experience preferred.
• Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients and process paperwork; Update demographics in system.
• Collect balances due and document in the billing system.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Assist with chart prep and other business office duties necessary.

Job Summary:

• The Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians, vendors and staff
• Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in system
• Collect balances due and document in the billing system
• Handle funds per office procedure
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Assist with chart prep and other business office duties necessary
• Coordinating with office on scheduling for procedures and anesthesia coverage
• May be asked to float to other locations for staff coverage
• MUST be reliable, dedicated, personable, professional and have a strong attention to detail.
