Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Kirby Glen is seeking a Registration Coordinator to join a busy multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will interface with patients, families, physicians and staff to admit patients and handle paperwork, update demographics in the system, and collect monies due while documenting in the billing system.

You will also answer incoming calls and support front-desk operations.

Formación

• One year of prior hospital clerical experience or related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment required.
• Typing speed of 45 wpm is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.

Required Skills:

• One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
• Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
• Bilingual preferred.
• Good communication skills.
