We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Front Desk/Cafe Staff member at our health & wellness fitness club. If you have a friendly and outgoing personality, excellent organizational skills, and a genuine interest in promoting a healthy lifestyle, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Position: Front Desk/Cafe Associate

Available Hours: Mon. 4:30 am- 9am Tues. 4:30 am- 9am Wed. 4:30 am- 9am Thurs. 4:30 am- 9am Saturday or Sunday. 6:30 am- 1pm Opportunity for more hours

Employment type: Part-time (Not Seasonal)

Responsibilities:

● Greet members and guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they enter the club.

● Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and assisting members and guests with various requests.

● Manage the front desk area, including taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.

● Stay up-to-date with the club’s services, facilities, and promotions to provide accurate information to members and guests.

● Operate the cafe area, preparing and serving a variety of healthy snacks and beverages to members and guests.

● Take orders, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

● Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the cafe and front desk area.

● Monitor inventory levels and let management know when orders for supplies are needed, ensuring that stock is maintained and at appropriate levels.

● Collaborate with the club management team to develop and implement creative initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

● Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fitness club, spa, or hospitality setting.

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with members, guests, and colleagues.

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

● A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced environment.

● Basic knowledge of nutrition and fitness principles is desired but not mandatory.

● Basic food handling and preparation knowledge is preferred.

● Proficiency in using computer applications for administrative tasks.

● Basic knowledge of POS software for cafe transactions.

● Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

● CPR/AED Certified
