Essential Job Functions: We are seeking a receptionist for our Family Medicine and Urgent Care clinics. Responsibilities include answering patient phone calls, creating new patient accounts, scheduling appointments, and addressing patient questions and concerns in collaboration with physicians and staff. The ideal candidate will arrive each day prepared to foster professional relationships with patients, physicians, and colleagues, accurately maintain patient information, and provide outstanding customer service. You should enjoy interacting with new people, making personal connections, and ensuring every patient feels welcomed and valued. As a key first contact, you will navigate challenging situations with professionalism and provide excellent service to patients, co-workers, and physicians. Your role is vital in helping patients understand our processes and procedures, representing our reputable organization, and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. We are looking for team players with a positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, answering calls, managing appointments and billing questions, updating records, and maintaining a clean environment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications: Prior front desk experience is required, with medical front desk experience preferred. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be adept at multitasking, and be comfortable with phones and computer programs.
Hours: Clinic hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 8 pm, with shifts varying and rotating Saturdays for Urgent Care. Applicants must have open availability.
