Job summary

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort in Florida is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Manager to lead our front desk team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

As the first point of contact, you will oversee check-in/out, train staff, handle guest inquiries, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of departmental management experience in front office, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Opera PMS, Micros, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2 years of departmental management experience in front office
• Time management and negotiation skills
• Ability to lead each discipline of the department independently
• Ability to manage according to employment and Innkeeper laws
• Prior cash handling experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• Proficient in Opera PMS, Micros, Microsoft Office and Excel

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring efficient and smooth processes
• Train, mentor, and motivate front desk staff to deliver outstanding service
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Monitor and maintain front desk procedures, including check-in/check-out processes and reservation management
• Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and guest satisfaction
• Manage room inventory and maximize revenue through effective room management strategies
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to front desk team members
