Position Snapshot

• Front Desk/Host position ensuring guests have a positive initial impression.
• Strong communicator guiding guests through retail, game rental, and dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as ambassador, greeting guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
• Coordinate game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephone handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk and Host station.
• Ensure menus and supplies are stocked and properly maintained.
• Notify management of any guest dissatisfaction or issues.
• Assist other team members and conduct merchandise inventory as needed.
• Drive table turn timing by scouting open tables, bussing, cleaning, and rotating seating.
• Manage front‑door flow and communicate wait times to guests and staff.
• Deliver silverware as guests are seated.
• Process bill transactions accurately and reconcile payments.
• Handle "To Go" order transactions and ensure accuracy.
• Sell merchandise from the Front Desk when applicable.

Qualifications

• Friendly and able to smile frequently.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to read and communicate clear greetings, requests, and farewells.
• Calmly respond to dissatisfied guests and report issues to management.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Preferred: Restaurant, retail, or cashier experience.

Physical Demands

• Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
• Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment.
• Read and write handwritten notes.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Stand for long periods; walk or stand 100% of shift.
• Reach, bend, and stoop frequently.

Compensation

Salary Range: $7.25 - $13.25 per hour.
