Position Overview

The Front Desk/Receptionist will greet and direct members, guests, and staff as they enter the gym, providing control of the front door area.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greet each member and guest promptly, using appropriate greetings for the time of day, to create a friendly and positive entrance and departure experience.
• Check each member into the gym using proper procedures.
• Register all guests into the gym following proper registration procedures.
• Provide new guests with a tour of the gym and answer questions about membership options.
• Assist guests with purchasing new memberships.
• Answer phone calls professionally and courteously, using proper phone greeting techniques.
• Process retail and concession sales.
• Clean and maintain the front desk area.
