Position Details:

Title: Front Desk Customer Service Representative

Reports to: General Manager/Sales & Service Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Promote quality customer service by processing sales and registration transactions. Serve as the first point of contact for customers, representing a positive image of Goldfish Swim School.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct calls professionally.
  2. Process student registrations using effective sales and customer service techniques.
  3. Schedule and manage birthday and pool parties, supervising staff accordingly.
  4. Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally.
  5. Assist with merchandise and vending purchases.
  6. Greet parents and students at the front desk.
  7. Check in students using the attendance system.
  8. Maintain cleanliness of the front desk, Snack Shack, changing areas, restrooms, and observation area.
  9. Monitor Snack Shack and guide staff as needed.
  10. Respond promptly to voicemail and email correspondence.
  11. Update promotional displays and literature regularly.
  12. Provide administrative support to management when needed.
  13. Make collection calls to resolve account issues.
  14. Prepare daily student lesson schedules for instructors and staff.
  15. Enforce safety rules and administer first aid when necessary.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred. Minimum of two years in customer service or administrative roles. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other software.

Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required.

Work Environment: Exposure to heat and humidity occasionally; moderate noise levels.
