Front Desk Coordinator, The American Club

Work Mode:Onsite

Opportunity

Joinour guest services team—the heartbeat of our business and the warmth ourguests remember long after their stay.

Oversee,lead, train and provide prompt, courteous and professional guest servicein the functions of registration, guest departure, cashiering,reservations and information at assigned location. Maintain the smooth operation of eachshift at the front desk and initiate programs and policies to ensure guestpatronage.

Specificresponsibilities as a Front Desk Coordinator include:

  • Registerguest/member in and out of applicable software system(s).
  • Provideguests with information on the venue and resort.
  • Knowledgeableabout property and surrounding area, local attractions and shoppingservices.
  • Ensurethat standards are met through service observations team.
  • Provideleadership and resolution to all escalated guest or member concerns.
  • Provideoversight to ensure timely response to special requests; inform teams ordepartments as appropriate.
  • Handleall monetary transactions at the front desk as appropriate according tocash handling guidelines.
  • Accuratelypost or refund guest charges and fees.
  • Coachand council cashiering errors as outlined by accounting department,provide disciplinary action when appropriate.
  • Contactguests/banks with over-credit limit concerns when applicable.
  • Contactguests who have departed with open balances.
  • Have aclear understanding of daily yield strategies and the proper execution ofthose strategies to maximize average daily revenue.
  • Coordinatebetween businesses on fully committed days to ensure a seamless guestexperience.
  • Documentin detail any guests who may have been relocated and what follow-up actionshould take place.
  • Lead,train and develop associates on all processes, procedures, applicablestandards and provide coaching and feedback on a timely basis.
  • Completespecial projects as assigned by leaders.

This is a Full-Time position with benefits with shifts onWeekdays & Weekends varying between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’sDegree in Hospitality, Business Management or related field preferred or aminimum of 4 years customer service or guest service experience required.
  • Aminimum of 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
  • Firmunderstanding of Night Audit processes.

The hourly range for this position is $23.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
