Job description

The front desk coordinator in Cary position reports directly to the Front Desk Manager and coordinates essential administrative duties for their office. This is a busy role involving scheduling, in-clinic collections, insurance verifications, and insurance authorizations. The position is often the first face of DTA to our community!

Qualifications
Educational Experience

High school diploma or GED required; a college degree in business administration or similar is preferred.

Work Experience

Minimum two years in customer service and office work. Must demonstrate excellent communication, time management, organization, problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong PR and providing exceptional service.

Purpose

Maintain high patient appointment volume with accurate billing information for the Billing Department.

Job Functions
  • Ensure smooth internal and external communication.
  • Maintain good relationships with referral sources.
  • Efficiently schedule patient appointments to maximize productivity.
  • Enforce no-show and cancellation policies.
  • Track referrals and handle insurance authorizations.
  • Complete billing information before services.
  • Ensure timely collections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area.
Quotas
  • 90% or better patient arrival rate
  • 90% capacity of therapy schedules
