Job summary

Mountain Land Physical Therapy, Inc. in Moab, UT, is hiring a patient care coordinator to manage front desk operations and payments in our outpatient clinic. You’ll help create a welcoming, efficient patient experience from check-in to check-out.

You’ll greet patients, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and maintain HIPAA compliance while delivering friendly service. Training and mentorship are provided to support growth in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Front office, medical receptionist, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software quickly.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Friendly, team-oriented, professional demeanor.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, creating a friendly and professional first impression.
• Manage provider schedules using our scheduling software.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and private payments at time of service.
• Answer phones and respond to emails with excellent customer service.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in all patient interaction.
• Keep the front desk and waiting area organized, efficient, and welcoming.
• Assist with administrative tasks and accurate patient information updates as needed.
