Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our Palm Bay, FL team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and handling financial transactions with care and accuracy.

In this role you will use dental software and Microsoft Office, maintain patient records, answer phones, greet visitors, and support our mission to deliver empathetic, high‑quality dental care. A professional, dependable demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
  • 1–5 years in customer service, insurance, or dental experience.
  • Knowledge of dental software and Microsoft Office; able to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

  • Handle insurance verification and end-of-day reports, ensuring patient peace of mind.
  • Answer phone calls, greet visitors/patients, schedule, verify, and confirm appointments.
  • Explain procedures and/or services to patients using dental knowledge.
  • Present financial policies and collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage as appropriate.
  • Track appointments due to no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals

Responsibilities

Skills Required to Make a Great \"Impression\" on Our Team



  • Must be dependable and skilled in quality control when handling financial information, performing insurance verification, and preparing end of the day reports, always keeping our patients worry-free

  • Performs clerical tasks such as sorting, opening, distributing mail, scanning, and photocopying. Answer phone calls and provide information to callers; greet visitors/patients; schedules, verifies, and confirms patient appointments.

  • Explains procedures and/or services to patients using dental knowledge.

  • Presents financial policies and arrangements to patients collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage as appropriate.

  • Tracks appointments due to no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals


Qualifications
