Pediatrica is seeking a clinical/administrative Medical Assistant to support physicians in both patient care and clinic operations. The role requires comfort with front-office tasks, charting, and coordinating patient flow in a fast-paced pediatric practice.
Ideal candidate has a medical assistant diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in a family practice or urgent care, and experience with EMR systems. The position is on-site in Miami, FL, with collaborative teamwork at the core.

This position may be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. This position requires the ability to transition seamlessly between front office and back-office duties based on the needs of the day. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and skilled in both administrative and clinical functions, ensuring a smooth workflow throughout the practice. A strong team player, this individual will adapt to shifting priorities and contribute effectively to both patient-facing and support roles. From managing appointment scheduling and patient intakes, your role will also help support our clinical staff and keep the office running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings. Well-lighted, well-ventilated, adequate space.
Standard medical exam/office equipment, which may include computerized health information management system for medical records, etc.
Must be able to use appropriate body mechanics techniques when making necessary patient transfers and helping patients with walking, dressing, etc. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds of supplies. Occasional stress from dealing with staff and patients.
