This is a year-round, part-time position responsible for control desk operations at Centennial Commons and Heman Park Swimming Pool. Responsibilities include membership sales, program registration, facility reservations, enforcing rules, assisting patrons, operating recreation software, cash handling, administrative tasks, and supporting program implementation. Work under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor or Deputy Director/Recreation Facilities and Services.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • At least two years of experience in a recreational facility or similar role (preferred)
  • One year of customer service and cash handling experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of RecTrac 3.1 preferred
  • Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within six months

  • Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
