Qualifications

YOUR DAY TO DAY

FRONT DESK HOSPITALITY

Connecting with Members and Guests is the highest priority. Every person receives an EPIC greeting and farewell.

  • Engage all Members/Guests with EPIC greetings & farewells
  • Check members into the gym using proper procedures
  • Register guests properly
  • Answer calls promptly with appropriate verbiage
  • Route Telephone Inquiries (TI) appropriately
  • Direct guests and appointments to the appropriate Fitness Consultant (FC)
  • Serve as a communication hub for members, guests, and teammates

PROSHOP PRO

Offer drinks, snacks, supplements, and FitCo gear to improve members’ nutrition and style

  • Promote and sell products
  • Meet/exceed sales goals
  • Stock and organize retail items
  • Assist with operational duties as needed
  • Learn about products sold
  • Maintain ProShop area
  • Use POS and handle money accurately

MEMBER & CLUB SERVICES

Ensure members experience the best of Fitness Connection during their membership.

  • Complete member check-ins and inquiries
  • Monitor check-ins for delinquent accounts, collect balances, and update info
  • Notify management if escalation is needed
  • Keep front desk and entryway tidy
  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Maintain cleanliness routines
  • Report incidents promptly
  • Maintain positive relationships with the team
  • Support teammates in achieving goals
  • Follow company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Experience in Hospitality/Customer Service preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Ability to interpret business communications
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move quickly and freely around obstacles in gyms

All Front Desk teammates will complete our EPIC Training Program, which covers membership systems, products, basic personal training, and other club systems. Successful completion indicates thorough understanding and application of these skills.
