Job summary

Eagle's Trace by Erickson Senior Living in Houston, TX, is seeking a Front Desk Associate for part-time day and evening shifts. You will greet residents and guests, handle inquiries, and coordinate with staff to ensure a warm, welcoming environment across the community.

Responsibilities include answering calls, logging packages, managing mail and visitor flow, and supporting census accuracy. Prior receptionist experience and excellent communication are required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct residents, visitors and staff, handle questions and concerns efficiently.
  • Receive emergency calls and dispatch appropriate personnel; page on-call physicians as needed.
  • Monitor emergency pull cords for Independent Living residents.
  • Track status of residents involved in a situation and keep census/list updates.
  • Manage resident lists alphabetically and by apartment.
  • Maintain accurate census information and notify residents of mail/package status.

How you will make an impact:

  • Greet and direct our residents, visitors, and staff, handle questions and concerns efficiently
  • Receive emergency calls from residents and staff and dispatch appropriate personnel; page on-call physicians as needed in an accurate and calm manner
  • Monitor all emergency pull cords for Independent Living residents
  • Track status of resident involved in a situation, i.e. transported to a hospital, etc.
  • Manage resident’s list, alphabetically and by resident apartment
  • Assist with maintaining accurate census information, hospitalizations, deaths, etc., and keeping an accurate list of residents who are away and returning
  • Responsible for logging all resident packages and notifying residents of a package pick-up via notice, assuring all mail is dispatched through U.S. Mail at the end of each day, sort and distributes all inter-office mail
