We are seeking individuals who desire to use their unique skills to innovate and make an impact.The Front Desk Assistant professionally serves the clinic patients and the interns.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Register Arriving Patients per detailed instructions in the Clinic Office Procedure ManualChecking out of Departing Patients per detailed instructions in the Clinic Office Procedure ManualPatient File Management per detailed instructions in the Clinic Office Procedure ManualCheck Out and Check In of PT equipment and supplies per detailed instructions in the Clinic Office Procedure ManualClinic Receptionist per detailed instructions in the Clinic Office Procedure ManualVarious Duties:Maintain InventoryNew Patient FilesPatient File FormsOffice SuppliesPatient file copyingShift depositObtain and Sort MailInsurance verificationAnswering phones using appropriate scriptsPatient Transfer Card data entryLaunder gowns and towelsMaintain an orderly work areaOther assignments that may be requested, from time to time, by the Clinic Operations Manager.Maintain strict confidentiality regarding information that is learned through this department following all HIPAA guidelines.Understand that fraternization with students/interns is strictly prohibited.WHAT YOU WILL NEED:EDUCATION/EXPERTISE:High school diploma or equivalent required.A minimum of six (6) months general office/customer service experience.Bilingual preferredJOB REQUIREMENT/SKILL/ETC.:Good English grammar, spelling and punctuation skills;Good verbal and written communication skills;Proven outstanding job attendance.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal.
