Overview

Position: Front Desk Agent

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. The Front Desk Agent will be the first point of contact for guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and performing a variety of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring that all registration details are accurately entered into the system.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, policies, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Process payments, including credit card and cash transactions, while ensuring accuracy.
  • Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to address guest needs and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor guest accounts for discrepancies and ensure that all charges are correct at check-out.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Assist with reservations, including handling cancellations, modifications, and special requests.
  • Provide guests with directions, recommendations for local dining, attractions, and other services as requested.
  • Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including safety, security, and confidentiality protocols.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports and ensure all front desk paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed, such as maintaining guest records or handling group check-ins.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a guest-facing role, such as in a hotel or resort.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
