Front Desk Agent - Part Time - SpringHill Suites Dulles - Starting at $17/hr

This position is responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding expectations, and providing exceptional service. Responsibilities include processing check-ins/outs, assisting with reservations, and responding to guest requests in a friendly, professional manner, adhering to SpringHill Suites' high standards.

This is a part-time position with a varying schedule, including weekends, working AM and/or PM shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Respond to guests positively, process check-ins/outs, verify billing, create reservations, and assist with local information. Collaborate with team members and follow guest service recovery protocols.
  • Financial Results and Cost Control: Maximize room revenue through upselling, monitor room availability, and handle financial transactions according to procedures.
  • Self/Workload Management: Plan and prioritize tasks, attend meetings, and adhere to work rules and procedures.
  • Safety/Risk Management: Maintain a safe work environment, follow incident procedures, and know emergency protocols.
Required Skills and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of guest service experience, preferably in hospitality.
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Marriott brands preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Pay rate: $17/hour.
