Job description

Join to apply for the Front Desk Agent Part time 3pm-11pm role at StepStone Hospitality.

Responsibilities:

  • Issue room keys and escort instructions directly to guests.
  • Sort, track, and manage incoming mail, messages, and packages.
  • Transmit and receive messages via all communication channels, including GPX and phone.
  • Address inquiries related to hotel services, guest registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Maintain records of room availability and rates.
  • Calculate bills, collect payments, and give change to guests.
  • Make, confirm, and cancel reservations through all communication channels.
  • Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to guest bills if interfaces are unavailable.
  • Arrange reservations for transportation and entertainment as needed.
  • Secure guest valuables in the hotel safe deposit box or coordinate with Housekeeping.
  • Utilize various office software accurately.
  • Assist with room service orders and room calls when available.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of each shift, including night audits.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 20 pounds.
  • Physical abilities include pushing, bending, stooping, reaching, and manual dexterity.
  • Good hearing, writing, and typing skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work weekends.
  • Other duties as assigned.
