Job description

The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights, and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.

Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.

Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.

Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities, and inform them about ways to enhance their stay.

Handle cash and credit transactions.

Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process: verify IDs, distribute room keys, and manage safety deposit boxes.

Proactively address guests’ needs by recording preferences and handling messages, requests, questions, and concerns.

Serve as a trusted contact for guests, assisting with billing issues and local information, and involving management when needed.

Follow safety procedures diligently, report incidents, and wear protective gear as required.

Maintain a professional appearance and represent the brand positively.

Stay informed about daily events and activities.

Assist colleagues with ad-hoc duties as needed.

What We Need from You

Our hotel operates 24/7 to meet guest needs. Shifts may vary across weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Excellent communication skills to handle guest concerns and compliments effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills to turn issues into memorable experiences.

Fluency in the local language; additional languages are a plus.

Proficiency in reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a bonus.

At least one year of experience in front desk or guest services preferred.

Physical strength to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
