Job description

We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent at 524 Aviation Road Queensbury, NY 12804 at the Home2 Suites by Hilton to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.

Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. The hotel has 92 rooms and offers a fun working environment!

Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Work 7a-3p, 1p-8p, and/or 3p-11p shifts
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage online and phone reservations
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data
  • Register guests, collecting necessary information such as contact details and stay dates
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about our hotel, rooms, rates, and amenities
  • Respond to guest complaints professionally and promptly
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP guests and events
  • Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Skills

  • Previous experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role
  • Training provided!
  • Understanding of travel websites like Booking.com and TripAdvisor
  • Customer service-oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Hotel management degree is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17.00 per hour
