Job Overview

Shift: 3pm-11pm

Summary

At Summit Hospitality Group hotels, the Front Desk Agent works directly with guests to check-in and check-out, providing exceptional service in accordance with brand standards for Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton. Adheres to all corporate and brand quality standards.

Prerequisites/Qualifications
  • Experience in front desk or guest services preferred (Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott).
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in hotel computer operations for reservations, reports, and guest services.
  • Flexible to work various shifts and weekends.
  • Leadership by example.
Responsibilities
  • Work 30-40 hours weekly, including weekends and evenings; hours beyond 40 require prior approval.
  • Provide prompt, courteous customer service, answering questions and greeting guests.
  • Maintain professionalism even with challenging guests.
  • Resolve issues efficiently and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Explain internet and entertainment access during check-in.
  • Keep the lobby clean and stocked with informational materials.
  • Provide local information and directions.
  • Follow safety and security policies.
  • Attend required training sessions.
  • Assist during breakfast and social events when available.
  • Post guest accounts accurately and promptly.
  • Assist with ordering supplies and invoice coding.
  • Promote brand loyalty and company values.
Work Environment
  • Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to stand, sit, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Operate computers and hotel equipment efficiently.
  • Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring patience and good communication.
