Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Guest Experience Specialist for our dual property hotel, where you'll provide exceptional service across two distinctive environments. Our brand-new hotel, located at the Reston Town Center Metrorail Station, opened in January 2025 and features 267 rooms, a Rooftop Bar, a full-service Restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, an indoor heated pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Position Summary

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, welcoming them, ensuring a smooth check-in process, processing payments, offering local insights, and paying close attention to detail to provide a friction-free stay.

Essential Functions
  • Check guests in and out according to hotel and brand standards.
  • Inform guests about hotel facilities, policies, and procedures; provide tourist information.
  • Manage hotel phone system, transfer calls, and take messages.
  • Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints; coordinate with other departments for special requests.
  • Perform cashier duties, including processing traveler’s checks and posting charges.
  • Report issues with guestrooms or grounds to housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Follow security procedures and know hotel emergency protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Front Office area.
Additional Responsibilities
  • The hotel operates 24/7; shifts may vary based on business needs.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including those in the employee handbook.
