Function

Greets and assists guests with arrivals and departures by handling check-ins and check-outs, providing prompt and courteous service, receiving telephone calls, guest requests, reservations, faxing, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure complete guest satisfaction.
  • Check-in and check-out guests.
  • Complete guest registration process.
  • Familiarity with computer systems for reservations.
  • Verify and imprint guest credit cards for authorization.
  • Handle cash accurately and balance house bank.
  • Assign rooms based on preferences and availability.
  • Drive revenue management processes.
  • Handle guest concerns tactfully and resolve issues.
  • Answer questions about hotel facilities and services.
  • Answer telephones and book reservations.
  • Provide directions and local recommendations.
  • Assist with guest needs and requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front desk, lobby, and back office.
  • Follow up on check-ins, complaints, and requests.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Understand emergency procedures and participate in safety committees.
  • Maintain quality standards for property, product, and service.
  • Work flexible shifts to support business needs.
  • Ensure security of guests, staff, and assets.
  • Support policies and procedures of Winston Hospitality and the hotel brand.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
