Job Summary: We are looking to add an upbeat Front Desk Agent to Punderson Manor's team to manage all aspects of hotel guest accommodation. You will welcome new guests, issue room keys, manage reservations, and provide information about rooms, rates, and amenities. Close reservations by checking out the room at departure and explaining folio details if needed. Act as the main point of contact for our guests to assist their needs with a friendly and helpful attitude.
This position is temporary and hours depend on availability. Candidates must have weekend availability; shifts are 7 AM - 3 PM or 3 PM - 11 PM.

Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data
- Register guests, collecting necessary information (contact details, stay dates)
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, rooms, rates, and amenities
- Respond to client complaints promptly and professionally
- Liaise with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, tidy, and ready
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIPs and event attendees
- Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate
- Maintain records of bookings and payments
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role - preferred but not required
- Experience with hotel reservation software like OnQ or Opera
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for long periods; use of stairs required
