Job summary

Sunnyside Nursing and Post-Acute Care in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Front Office Clerk to handle telephone reception, greeting visitors, and supporting admission processes. The role requires strong communication and multitasking abilities and includes training on accounts payable and Medi-Cal eligibility.

Ideal candidates are bilingual (Spanish speaking) and have experience working with elder adults. Work hours are full-time, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend shifts, from 8:30 am to 5:00

Qualifications

• Computer savvy – Google Suite.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Provides front office assistance, including telephone reception duties
• Greets and screens visitors
• Processes Accounts Payable (training provided)
• Ensures monthly Medi-Cal eligibility (training provided)
• Assists with new admission agreement completion for every new resident (training provided)
• Proficient in typing skills, at least 40 WPM
• Assist with various projects as assigned
