Job summary

Chick-fil-A is seeking Front of House Team Members in Houston to deliver signature hospitality and a positive guest experience. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure accurate, friendly service across front counter, dining room, and drive-thru roles.

Flexibility is valued with shifts, including Fridays and Saturdays. Base pay starts at $12/hour with a $1/hour premium for flexible shifts; Sundays are typically closed.

As a Front of House Team Member working for an independent Owner/Operator, you will help create a welcoming environment and provide every guest with the signature Chick-fil-A service and hospitality they expect.

Our Front of House Team Members play an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience by serving guests with genuine care, accuracy, efficiency, and a positive attitude.

Position Type / Employment Desired & Pay

Full-Time (FT) / Part-Time (PT)

Front of House (FOH): $12/hour

Flexible Shift: Receive an additional $1/hour premium on top of the base rate. Team Members selecting this option must have open availability and be able to work any shift as scheduled without restrictions on days or times. Scheduling is based on business needs. Flexible Shift is a full-time position with one additional day off each week.

Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays.

Front of House Roles & Responsibilities

As a Front of House Team Member, you may work in areas such as the front counter, dining room, drive-thru, order taking, cash handling, beverage preparation, order fulfillment, and guest service.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome and greet every guest with a friendly and positive attitude
• Provide attentive, courteous, and genuine Chick-fil-A hospitality
• Create and maintain appropriate eye contact when interacting with guests
• Speak clearly and enthusiastically while creating positive connections
• Take and fulfill guest orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle payments and cash transactions responsibly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining and service environment
• Respond to guest needs and concerns with professionalism and care
• Communicate effectively with guests, leaders, and fellow Team Members
• Multitask and work with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Demonstrate teamwork, dependability, adaptability, and a willingness to serve
• Honor and support the restaurant's vision, values, and standards
• Follow all Chick-fil-A procedures, service standards, safety requirements, and dress code
• Remain active and work on your feet for extended periods
• Perform other Front of House duties as assigned
