Job summary

NW Staffing in Seaside, Oregon is seeking a friendly, reliable Sales & Customer Service Associate to support customers at the counter, by phone, and via email while coordinating material orders and residential project estimates.

The role alternates between the sales counter and yard operations, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, in a hands-on environment. A high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months in sales or retail are required; forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of sales, retail, customer service, or related experience.
• Building-materials, construction, hardware or estimating experience preferred.
• Ability to learn product knowledge, pricing and order-entry systems.
• Willingness to complete equipment training.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions, pricing, availability, returns, and project needs.
• Prepare material estimates and quotes for smaller residential projects.
• Enter customer orders accurately, coordinate deliveries, and follow through on order details.
• Recommend appropriate products and additional materials based on projects.
• Support inventory, merchandising, stocking, and safe yard/store operations.

Work directly with contractors and homeowners, help them find the right materials, and keep every day moving in a hands-on Seaside location.SALARY: $18.00–$20.00 per hourLOCATION: SEASIDE, ORSCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; regularly lift up to 25 - 50 pounds; and bend, kneel, reach, and perform general physical tasks throughout the shift.
