Mackenthun's Meat Service in Waconia, MN is seeking a Meat Service Case Specialist to greet customers, assist with meat and signature item sales, and merchandise the service case. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, stocking, and promoting Mackenthun’s Signature items in a fast-paced meat department.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, basic math skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in English, with prior meat/retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous Meat/Retail experience preferred.
• Must be able to clearly speak, read and write the English language.
• Minimize department losses due to improper product handling, storage and spoilage.
• Perform duties in a manner that safeguards company equipment and resources.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and answer customer questions about Mackenthun’s meats and signature items.
• Package product for customers from the service case.
• Prepare and merchandise the meat, fish, and signature items.
• Maintain the sales floor and shelves to Mackenthun’s standards.
• Stock refrigerated and freezer cases and shelves, rotating for freshness.
• Wash/rinse/sanitize equipment and maintain department sanitation.
• Assist Meat Cutters and the Meat Department Manager with promotions.
