Job summary

City Barbeque in Kentwood, MI is hiring Front of House team members to deliver genuine hospitality while working in a fast-paced setting. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and support drive-thru, curbside, and dine-in service with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for each shift and follow time reporting procedures
• Provide excellent guest service and hospitality
• Handle multiple FOH stations and cross-train as needed
• Follow recipes and sanitation standards
• Assist with take-out and catering orders
• Maintain a positive attitude with teammates and guests

• Cashier and Counter Server / Drive-thru
• Expeditor and Curbside
• Call in order coordinator
• Guest Services Ambassador

We are looking for individuals who:

• Provide great backyard hospitality for guests
• Work in a fast and independent manner
• Can cross-train and work multiple stations
• Consistently follow proper recipes and procedures
• Maintain our high standards for food preparation and sanitation
• Contribute to the team by taking initiative and will pitch-in to help others

To promote good teamwork, daily tasks include:

• Arrive on time for each shift and practice proper time reporting (punch in and out accurately)
• Complete hot and cold food prep assignments by following recipes accurately, neatly and according to sanitation guidelines
• Work in collaboration to prepare take out and catering orders in a timely fashion
• Monitor food levels on the line and communicate with prep cook appropriately
• Follow station checklists and cleaning lists consistently and thoroughly
• Provide a positive attitude when interacting with teammates and guests
