Job summary

aah in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Family Medicine team. You will prepare patients for exams, obtain vitals, document health information, perform basic lab work, and assist with procedures under supervision.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm, for 40 hours per week. Requires LPN licensure in Georgia and BLS certification; completion of an approved Practical Nursing program is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients, record vital signs and health information.
• Perform lab procedures with aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as pelvic exams and colposcopy.
• Administer medications, including immunizations and IV therapy within limits.
• Educate patients and coordinate follow-up care and referrals.
• Maintain exam rooms, labs and equipment; ensure safe workflow.
